About Kayeligh Mckendry

I have loved all things cosmetics since i was a little girl. I danced since i was 3 and stage hair and makeup was always something i loved to do. I left school to pursue a career in Dance but after a few injurys decided it was time to tie up my shoes for good. I knew i wanted to still be in a creative industry but Makeup artistry came naturally and firstly as a want to work within Theater, Cruise ships and Disney as a backstage artist.

In 2014 i fell in love with making people feel beautiful especially on their wedding day and knew this was where i wanted to be and as they say the rest is history. I am Fully qualified to the Highest level of Makeup Artistry, Hairdressing and specialized skin treatments such as Facials and Galvanic.

I have been lucky enough to be Nominated and won awards within multiple Scottish makeup awards but the best reward for me is knowing that i have given someone confidence and made them feel beautiful.

I Have such a passion for learning and teaching. I am constantly learning and trying to better myself. I cant wait to start passing on my knowledge to my students when The Scottish Makeup Academy courses officially launch.
